About the Role
As the Enterprise Integration Architect (EIA), you will lead complex integration efforts, ensuring data synchronization and system connectivity across multiple platforms. A key focus will be on designing and implementing API-driven integrations using Mulesoft, driving efficiencies in partner onboarding, and reducing operational costs through reusable frameworks. In this role, you will ensure a robust and scalable architecture while mitigating risks associated with system interdependencies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration strategies using Mulesoft to ensure smooth connectivity between systems.
- Develop and maintain architectural frameworks, following best practices to optimize system interoperability.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and refine integration strategies.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of MuleSoft-based integrations with platforms like Salesforce CRM, Dynamics 365 F&O, and other mission-critical systems.
- Provide expert guidance on API development, middleware solutions, and data transformation strategies.
- Mentor development teams and provide architectural direction throughout the integration project lifecycle.
- Define Enterprise Architecture (EA) standards and governance frameworks for consistent integration practices.
- Partner with project teams to align integration strategies with the enterprise architecture and ensure they meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Manage internal teams and external vendors to support smooth project execution.
- Oversee batch processes and backend systems related to the application portfolio.
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for integration challenges.
- Collaborate with data, technical, and security architects to ensure integration solutions align with operational requirements.
- Stay current on Mulesoft technologies and emerging trends to maintain technical integrity and future readiness.
- Manage vendor relationships to support integration technologies and resolve technical escalations as needed.
Qualifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in an integration architecture role, with a focus on Mulesoft.
- Expertise in integration frameworks, API management, and architectural standards.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends within application and system integration.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale integration projects, including complex system design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of middleware technologies, SOA, APIs, and microservices.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and drive initiatives.
Preferred Skills
Preferred experience with Salesforce CRM, Dynamics 365 F&O, AWS, and iPaaS solutions.
